The Fading Beauty of Hinulugang Taktak

I had an almost week-long vacation at Antipolo earlier this month. One of the places I have been to is the Hinulugang Taktak National Park. It is located at Upper Antipolo few kilometers away from their beautiful church. Antipolo is also a few kilometers away from the busy cities of Pasig and Marikina. My bf is from Antipolo hence he knows how to go there, funny it may seems cause it is also his first time to visit the park (what the heck? haha). The entrance fee is super cheap P8 for adults and P5 for kids and for those little toddlers they are free of charge.

The falls is the main attraction here, and I should say it's quite a beauty. It's also a tall falls probably measuring a thirty meter high. At a glimpse it seemingly looks perfect, but zooming in:

I hope you could see those garbage. Yes there are A LOT of garbage in there. I hope you could also see that foamy thing coming from the falls. I earlier read that it is a foam coming from laundry suds. UGLY. The falls is polluted, you cant even step a feet on that water. Isn't that a sad thing? Watching a beauty fades because of garbage? In the future I would like to bring my kid here, but I'm unsure if the falls would still be beautiful at that time or would it still exist?? Hello, remember what happened to the PASIG RIVER??

That's me posing, see how beautiful the falls is? No matter what filter I used, it is still beautiful. Antipolo government, DENR, people of Antipolo, dear readers and everyone who may read this; I hope we could do something about this, why don't we probably start a cleaning drive? Or anything helpful... Anyone?

XOXO
